Customer
Menucard
The interface allows customers to make selection from an array of dishes listed.
Dish / Item list can be filtered and displayed based on time of the day they are available i.e. dishes served for lunch will list during lunch period only.
The interface gives filtering options for various types of food and their categories e.g. main ingredient i.e. vegies, meat, fish etc.; meal course i.e. starter, main, side, desserts; occasion i.e. birthday, anniversary etc.; special i.e. diabetic, dieting etc.
A ‘Call Waiter’ button on the interface notifies the waiter that customer is waiting, when tapped.
Customers can change language settings to display text in their preferred language by tapping ‘Language’ pick-list.
Customer can browse items selected and ordered on a separate interface at the press of a button.
Customer can place order once dish selection is over by tapping ‘Place Order’ button.
The first to open for a waiter is Tables interface, which pops up colored boxes for each table in the restaurant & cafes.
These boxes are colored green if table is available and grey if it is occupied.
Each table gives 4 options to the waiter to choose from:
Feedback & Ratings
The interface has 2 sections ratings and feedback.
Ratings section allows customers to post their ratings for dishes they enjoyed.
The Feedback section allows customers to post their ratings for Overall food quality, Waiter, Ambience and Overall service.
Customers can enter and submit comments also.
Chef
Chef interface lists dishes that are ordered by various tables.
Dishes are pooled before they are sent to each chef based on dishes assigned to each chef.
The chef can then tap the dish before he/she starts cooking, which changes the cooking status for the dish as ‘Cooking’ for others.
Once cooked and ready to serve, chef would tap the dish again to mark it as ‘Ready’ for others.
Waiter

Cashier
Cashier interface allows cahier / front office to see current orders being served.
They can tap the respective order row to see detail.
‘Print Bill’ button prints the bill when tapped.
Tapping action column marks the order as ‘Paid’.
Administrator
Admin interface has following options:
Staff
  • Admin can make changes to staff detail like their name, roles, photo, activate or deactivate their account etc.
  • New staff member can be added.
Menu
  • Categories: Admin can edit or add meal course categories viz. Starter, Main, Side, Beverages, Desserts etc.
  • Sub Categories: Admin can edit / add sub categories viz. Cuisines, Dish type, Occasion and Special category.
  • Tags: Admin can edit / add tags and assign them to relevant sub-categories viz. Italian, French, Chinese, Indian tags are assigned to Cuisine sub-category.
  • Item: Admin can edit /add item detail viz. Photo, Name, Chef, Price, Category, Sub-category, Timing etc.
  • Tax: Admin can add /edit tax component, as they are applicable.
Tables
  • Admin can add/edit table detail viz. table numbering, seats available on the table, status (available / busy) and activate /deactivate.
  • A new table can be added to the existing list.
Orders
  • The table view lists orders for last one month; admin can view detail for each order by tapping info button.
  • Tapping archive button and defining the date range can access orders prior last one month.
Bills
  • The table view lists bills for last one month; admin can view detail for each bill generated by tapping info button.
  • Tapping archive button and defining the date range can access orders prior last one month.
Settings
  • Set Currency: Admin can set / change currency as per their need.
  • Set Item Timings: Admin can add / edit meals they will serve in a day and set timing for each meal also viz. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
  • Set Language: Admin can add / edit languages they want to enable on the app. This will give admin option to add text (detail) in different languages for a given item / dish.
